“We fit right in”. That’s how Betty Frost feels about her shop, Frost Oak Creek Creations, in Old Town Clovis. Betty started traveling around California and Nevada in 1982, selling her handmade crafts at various arts and crafts shows including Big Hat Days and Clovis fest. Betty’s crafts have sold in Country Sampler Magazine and stores throughout the United States. However, she always wanted a store to call her own. In June of 2011 she saw a “for rent” sign and the rest is history. After a month of cleaning, painting and repairs she opened her shop on August 16, of 2011 at 425 Pollasky, mere feet from where she did those street fairs. Betty likes the feel of Old Town Clovis where being “old-fashioned” is appreciated.Betty likes to handwrite her customers receipts and creates custom tags for here products. Betty has honed her skills over the years and hand creates several of her own baby lines in her work area in the back of the store. The customers love the handmade work and these items sell out quickly. Her skills in sewing and crochet come from the teachings of her Grandmother Lizzy and her Mother Elizabeth. In addition, Betty selects quality baby, garden, home and gourmet food lines to complement her shop. If you are looking for something unique and a great gift look no further than Frost Oak Creek Creations at 425 Pollasky in the heart of Old Town Clovis, California.
